BTS Who Won Best Group And Best K-Pop Last Year Have Been Nominated For Four Categories Including Best Choreography While SEVENTEEN Filled In Two Categories Including Best New Artist.
The annual MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 2022 will be held on August 28. The organizers have announced the list of nominees and some of them are popular K-Pop groups.
BTS ( Bangtan Boys ) who won Best Group and Best K-Pop last year have been nominated for Best Visual Effects with "My Universe", Best Choreography with "Permission to Dance", and Best Metaverse Performance for this year's "Minecraft".
SEVENTEEN (II) managed to get into several major nominations this year such as Best New Artist and Push Performance of the Year. The group will compete against GAYLE , Latto , Måneskin , and others for Best New Artist, as well as against Remi Wolf , Nessa Barrett , Mae Muller , and others for Push Performance of the Year with their performance, "Rock With You".
BLACKPINK ( Black Pink ) has also been nominated for Best Metaverse Performance alongside BTS for "PUBG Mobile". Finally, the nominations for the Best K-Pop category were filled by BTS with "Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)", ITZY with "LOCO", Lisa with "LALISA", SEVENTEEN with "HOT", Stray Kids with "Maniac", and TWICE with "The Feels".
The disclosure of the MTV VMA nomination list also did not escape the attention and comments of netizens on the Instiz community site. They are proud of the achievements of the nominated groups, as well as K-Pop in general.

The song LALISA itself is Lisa's first solo debut single. The MV for the song has also been watched more than 500 million times since its release in September 2021.
